Last week VPH hosted its annual General Assembly

On 27 June 2025, VPH held its annual General Assembly online, a moment to reconnect with our members, reflect on key achievements, and align on the road ahead for In Silico Medicine.

Over the past year, VPH made important strides:

  • Launched the VPH Podcast on digital innovation in healthcare;
  • Rolled out 10 episodes Code & Cure Series to spread the knowledge of in silico medicine towards a larger public;
  • Released the In Silico Medicine Info Kit, a handbook that provides clear instructions, guidelines, and resources to navigate the complexities of stakeholder engagement effectively;
  • Led the development of the VHT Vision and Roadmap, pulling together the voice of key players in the field to define priorities and implement proof-of-concept digital twin applications in healthcare;
  • Followed and contributed to a number of policy initiatives, such as MDR, Biotech Act;
  • Successfully concluded major EU projects: In Silico World, SimCardioTest, EDITH and REALM;
  • Kicked off a new collaboration with the dealii-X project

Looking ahead, we’ve strengthened our foundation with the formation of a dedicated Executive Committee, designed to enhance collaboration and streamline interaction with our members. Each member has taken on strategic focus areas, backed by the VPH team, to turn ideas into impact.

As always, VPH remains open to new collaborations in future EC-funded projects, offering a proven track record in:

  • Communication & Dissemination
  • Ecosystem Building & Roadmapping
  • Regulatory & Policy Support
  • Standardisation
  • Stakeholder Engagement

To our members and partners: thank you for your continued trust and inspiration!
