Building on the comprehensive VHT roadmap, VPH is planning to formulate a joint statement for the 2025-26 Thematic Network on trusted AI and Virtual Human Twins, bringing together the community's voice. We invite the support of our members and beyond to rally behind a strong proposal.
The European Commission has recently published a new cycle of Thematic Networks under the EU Health Policy Platform framework.
Thematic Networks are intended to boost collaboration with stakeholder organisations and produce a Joint Statement expressing their position and proposing actions on one of the following public health areas:
Following up from the recent release of the VHT roadmap developed by the EDITH CSA, our society will take a leading role is preparing a proposal for the Thematic Networks representing the in silico medicine community. This proposal will address the foundational aspects of Trusted AI and VHTs, aiming to bridge the gap between innovation and clinical adoption. This effort will also reinforce the commission’s Manifesto on European VHT Initiative, which seeks to create synergies across related EU initiatives and infrastructure by bringing together various ecosystem stakeholders. We look forward to listen and bridge with the wider AI in Healthcare community, to join forces and strengthen our mutual stakeholder voices.
On the above note, we encourage you to connect with the VPH Team to share your valuable input and suggestions. Your partnership and contributions will be instrumental in our collective effort to establish a Trusted AI and VHT Community of Practice ecosystem solution that successfully translates innovation into clinical adoption.
