VPH2018 Conference: OPEN CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

You're all invited to submit an abstract for the upcoming VPH Conference. The submission deadline will expire on 28 February 2018

Following the increasing success of the four previous conferences of the Virtual Physiological Human, we are pleased to invite you to participate in its 5th edition, VPH FOR IN SILICO MEDICINE – VPH2018, that will take place on 5 - 7 September 2018 in Zaragoza, Spain.
The previous VPH Conferences were held in Bruxelles (Belgium) 2010, London (UK) 2012, Trondheim (Norway) 2014 and Amsterdam (Holland) 2016.

Scientists of international prestige in the field of the conference have confirmed their participation as Plenary Lecturers: Alfio Quarteroni (EPFL), Blanca Rodriguez (University of Oxford) and Ravi Iyengar (School of Medicine at Mount Sinai).

These lectures will be complemented by Invited Sessions organized by recognized experts in targeted research areas. In addition, we are happy to confirm that Tina Morrison (Deputy Director, Division of Applied Mechanics and Chair of FDA's Modeling and Simulation Working Group) will lead the special Industry Session on the coming opportunities for in silico medicine.

The VPH2018 conference will offer two different workshops for students. One on “Patient-specific musculoskeletal models into FE computer models” organized by CURABONE, an ITN-EID Marie Curie action, and a second one on "High performance computing for the VPH" within the framework of CompBioMed consortium.
