VPH response to call for proposals EU Health Policy Platform 2025 Thematic Networks

Proposal for generating a joint statement on AI and the Virtual Human Twin.

EU Health Policy Platform Thematic Networks are intended to boost collaboration with stakeholder organisations and produce a Joint Statement expressing their position and proposing actions. The European Commission launched a call for proposals from health stakeholders for a new cycle of Thematic Networks on one of the following public health areas:

  1. A One Health Network to enable the dialogue between stakeholders at the intersection between human, animal, and plant health and the environment
  2. A structured and streamlined approach for stakeholders in public health actions on cardiovascular health
  3. Bridging the Gap Between Innovation and Adoption: Building the Foundations for Trusted AI and Virtual Human Twins in Health and Care

VPH has prepared a proposal for the third topic on AI and VHT and will submit it by the deadline of August 22nd. We call upon our partners to join this proposal in order to shape the webinars and resulting joint statement. You can find the latest draft of the VPH proposal here.
