The VPH Institute foresees two types of membership:

  • Ordinary members: basic level involvement
  • Supporting members: high level involvement

View the current membership composition here.

Becoming a Supporting Member, your institution will contribute in a substantial way to the financial viability of the Institute, having the opportunity to hold a seat in the Board of Directors (BoD).

Being part of the Board will allow you to:

  • effectively drive the Institute policy,
  • set the agendas,
  • propose specific actions,
  • approve the annual business plan,
  • associate your own institution to the visibility of the VPH institute as a whole.

Last but not least, the supporting membership will entitle your institution to a discounted fee for the upcoming VPH conference for all your affiliated participants. Please note that the upcoming VPH2014, will be held in Trondheim – Norway, from Sept 9th, to Sept 12th, 2014.

On the basis of the business plan presented by the Executive Director and approved by the current Board, this year the Supporting fee is set at €5.000.

In order to ensure an affective governance model, the BoD will be composed of a maximum of 12 members. In case we will receive a number of requests higher than the available seats, the assignment will be decided by the General Assembly through a formal vote.

  • To respond to the call, you will need to send a letter of commitment to the Institute Manager, before the end of June. Please write to manager@vph-institute.org.
