Antoine Motte dit Falisse (KULeuven) and Lorenzo Sala (Université de Strasbourg) are the winners of respectively the Best VPHi Thesis Award in In Silico Medicine and the Best VPHi-InSilicoTrials PhD Thesis Award in In Silico Medicine for potential application in industrial R&D. At the VPHi conference they presented their research work in plenary during the VPHi Award Ceremony
This year prizes have been awarded to:
Antoine Motte dit Falisse (KULeuven) -- > Best VPHi Thesis Award in In Silico Medicine for his thesis on "A framework for personalized modeling and predictive simulation to study gait in children with cerebral palsy"
Lorenzo Sala (Université de Strasbourg) -- > Best VPHi-InSilicoTrials PhD Thesis Award in In Silico Medicine for potential application in industrial R&D for his thesis on: "Mathematical modelling and simulation of ocular blood flows and their interactions"
Antoine and Lorenzo have been award a €1000 money prize and they also had the opportunity to present their work during the plenary award session at the VPH2020 conference on 28 August 2020.
