iRaise and ITACA SABIEN wins the Amparo Poch 2023

On 5 October 2023, iRaise, an international Education Programme co-led by Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (AQuAS) and ITACA SABIEN (Universidad Politécnica de Valencia) received the award Amparo Poch 2023 “BEST PUBLIC PROCUREMENT INITIATIVE FOR INNOVATION IN HEALTH”

Rossana Alessandrello from AQuAS and VPHi board member collected the award together with Vicente Traver from ITACA SABIEN. This award is a recognition of 4 years of intensive work led by ITACA-SABIEN, AQuAS Innovation Unit and Catalonian Department of Health.

iRaise is an educational program for multidisciplinary teams of professionals from healthcare organizations that promotes the transformation towards a value-based care model through the adoption of effective, sustainable and demand-driven innovations. iRaise already trained 25 teams formed by 120 professionals and is currently training 8 more teams formed by 48 professionals. iRaise participants count with the support of 30 certified mentors.

The Avicenna Alliance is also part of the iRaise Institutional and Industry Innovation Alliance (I3A) from its inception.
