Computational modelling to improve management of ischaemic stroke
The Insigneo modelathon is back! And is jointly organized with the Sano Centre.
Based on the concept of a hackathon, where different teams work on a challenging problem to āhackā computer code, the Modelathon uses computational modelling and simulation rather than āhackingā.
At next year's event, teams will work simultaneously at the University of Sheffield's Insigneo Institute and at the Sano Centre for Computational Personalisedā Medicine in KrakĆ³w. The challenges will focus on the role of multiscale modelling (0D, 1D, 3D) in improving the management of ischaemic stroke.
