The video interviews sought to explore the opinions and viewpoint of those involved in the roadmap, as well as gain an insight into how clinicians see the concept of the Digital Patient transferred to the clinic, in terms of future clinical applications. In particular, some of the barriers and challenges for a widespread uptake within the clinical community were discussed by the interviewees. Some clinical scenarios presented by the clinicians, gave insight into opinions on the validation process required for the Digital Patient to be transferred into the clinical setting. A series of viewpoints came across from the clinical or technical background of those interviewed, referencing to some of the obstacles identified by the now completed Digital Patient Roadmap.

The interviews were filmed on location at the University of Sheffield, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, University College London and the Royal Free Hospital.
